Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern the Hermes SMS service operated by T.W. Hudson. Hermes provides internal system notifications and assistant replies to users who opt in.
Enrollment and consent
By providing your mobile number and expressly opting in, you consent to receive SMS notifications and assistant replies from Hermes at that number. Providing your number alone does not enroll you. You must be authorized to use the number you provide. SMS consent is voluntary and is not a condition of purchase.
Message frequency and costs
Message frequency varies based on system activity and your requests to the assistant. Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's messaging and data charges are your responsibility.
Cancel messages and get help
Reply STOP to any Hermes SMS message to cancel. After opting out, you may receive one final confirmation message and will not receive further program messages unless you opt in again.
Reply HELP for assistance, or contact t.hudson@twhudson.dev. Contact us if your mobile number changes so we can update your messaging preferences.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how to contact us about your information. Mobile numbers and SMS consent are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties.
Appropriate use
Use Hermes only for lawful purposes and do not interfere with the service or submit someone else's mobile number without authorization. Do not send passwords, payment information, or other sensitive information by SMS.
Availability and disclaimers
SMS delivery depends on mobile carriers and network availability. Messages may be delayed or fail to arrive. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Hermes is not an emergency service; do not rely on it for emergency or safety-critical communications.
Assistant replies may contain errors. Verify information before acting on it. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available, without warranties of uninterrupted availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitations of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, T.W. Hudson is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the Hermes SMS service. These terms do not exclude or limit rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms or change or discontinue the service. Updated terms will be posted here with a revised effective date. Changes do not expand your SMS consent; any additional consent required for a new messaging purpose must be obtained separately.
